 | | The Ghana Co-operative Susu Collectors’ Association (GCSCA) was established in 1994, as an umbrella organization of all Regional Susu Collectors Co-operative Societies in Ghana. The Association has 10 regional co-operative societies in all ten regions of Ghana-Greater Accra, Western, Central, Eastern, Ashanti, Volta, Northern, Upper East, Upper West and Brong Ahafo Regions, with regional offices. | The National Head office is located at Nima, Accra, Ghana. From the consultative meetings had with stakeholders, analysing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the association, the following were adopted to drive the association for the period 2007 to 2011. | |

The Association is the umbrella body of all susu operators. It main service is regulating members to operate soundly in the interest of client and operator, and other stakeholders. The Association members engage in savings mobilization services, popularly called susu, who play intermediation role between their customers and formal financial institutions for a fee. |
